Identity Design Process

Inside my brand design process

My approach for identity projects includes the stages of strategy, research and development, refinement, and asset delivery.

1. Brand strategy workshop

I begin with an in-depth brand strategy workshop, where I’ll explore your mission and objectives, assess your ideal clients, determine your goals, and identify how you will stand out in your niche. This process allows me to develop the foundation and necessary data to begin the creative process of your brand, website, and other marketing materials.

2. Research & Development

Following the brand strategy workshop, I’ll begin developing the concept for your brand and/or website. Once ready for review, I’ll present you with the concepts and explain the inspiration behind each. You will then have time to review and reflect on your options.

3. Refinement

During our refinement process, you’ll have a chance to provide me with detailed feedback. From there, I’ll fine-tune the design by making minor adjustments.

4. Delivery & Launch

Now comes the exciting part as I prepare your files, website, and/or materials for delivery! You will receive everything you need for a successful launch, including an in-depth brand reference guide and personalized website training (for web design projects) to ensure both consistency and a profitable future.

FAQs

I do not offer single logos without beginning with one of my strategic branding packages. While your logo is important, I believe that creating a comprehensive brand strategy and customer experience is imperative to building a successful and profitable business.
Timelines vary depending on the scope of work. On average branding projects take 4 to 6 weeks and web design can take 6 to 8 weeks. If you have a specific deadline that needs to be met, please let me know right away and we I’ll do my very best to accommodate.
My branding and web design services are an investment in your business and are priced based on your specific project needs. For this reason, I create client specific proposals after our initial client intake meeting.
You bet! Projects start with an initial 50% investment. I’m happy to split your project total into two or three installments depending on what works best for you.

No. Design isn’t a commodity. You’ll find a wide range of pricing when you start looking for a graphic designer. Some of us work independently which helps keep our costs down, while others will have large overhead because they work for a firm.

Before we work together, it’s important that you have your business name, a solid/plan vision for your business, and knowledge of your target audience you want to attract.
